I updated my non working fireplace and this was an inexpensive way to get real flame. The glass gets warm but it keeps the dog/kid from throwing themselves in the flame. The screws were a bit loose but I buried them in fire glass so no problem. I did buy a wick which upped the total price but it makes the fuel last longer with a nice flame. Nice piece I'm glad I bought.

Placed it outdoors on the lanai. Received lots of compliments. Make sure when purchasing this item that you purchase the funnel, and extra fuel.

Super fun cool table top fireplace. The fuel takes forever to ship so try to find it local. Keeps cool on the sides, but the heat goes upwards. Hot glass but pretty cool all around it... makes an awesome flame if you give it five minutes to warm up.

I recently redecorated my somewhat small patio area. Having an older type fire pit had become a daunting task for me because I have developed some physical mobility issues, so I was hunting for something a little easier for me to handle. I found it!!! This table top fire pit fits my needs more than I could ever have anticipated. It was so easy to set up: it's sleek; it's clean; it lends to an amazing ambiance; and when not in use, I just store the unit on the undershelf of the table as seen in the pics I have included. I store the fuel in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area until it's my desire to use this little beauty again. I haven't used it inside yet because it's summer, but I look forward to when the cold Northeast prevents me from sitting outside and allows me the chance to use it inside. So far, I have enjoyed this product so very, very much!!

We enjoy this little portable fireplace. We do find that if you pour in the fuel but don't light it right away, you'll smell some vapor. But light it immediately and that problem is solved. Also, we always let it burn completely out, and find that after it goes out if you relight it a couple times you'll avoid some unburned fuel vapor. We also put the damper on it right away which helps too. During the burning we smell no odor at all. These are just our tips to keep it that way!

I gave this to my wife for Christmas and we now have it in our dining room where it adds a nice warm touch. It is quite attractive and works as described. A word of caution is that when you light it you get a "poof!" so use a long lighter and keep your face clear.
